Copy the data from 02Lab2 into worksheet 02Lab3.
Delete the row with the patch change command. Patch changes are not used with the GM drum channel.
Change all status bytes to 99.
You should hear drum sounds.
Channel 10 is the General MIDI drum channel.
IMPORTANT: MIDI uses a zero based channel system so a note on status byte for the GM drum channel is 99.
Choose MIDI Reference from the MIDIDisplay Help menu.
When the Help Center window opens click GM Drum Sounds List
The sounds you just heard were General MIDI drum note numbers 56-68.
