Subject pronouns

The subject pronouns are as follows:

first person singular: je
second person singular: tu
third person singular: il, elle, on
first person plural: nous
second person plural: vous
third person plural: ils, elles

The form of the subject pronoun will determine the conjugation of the verb; the verb is said to agree with the subject or subject pronoun:

Ils aiment faire la fête. (They like to party.)
Nous travaillons trop! (We work too much!)
