• Classes are introduced early and explained gradually.
• Strong on AP-like classes, esp. strings and templated vectors, and the author's own classes (which may get in the way).
• Works best if followed closely; much more of a text than a reference.
• Appendices: Strings, Vectors, Random Numbers.
