Family Update: Julie Neiworth

Isabel Helena (daughter): is now 17 and is driving my car most of the time. She remains an avid ballerina as well as an "advanced class/AP" student. She went to Norway as part of a peace conference (building bridges) in October 2011, and to Los Angeles in July 2012 for a Joffrey month-long dance intensive that included Mia Michaels and Mandy Moore from "so you think you can dance" as well as hiphop, ballet, and Chinese dance. We will be looking at Colleges soon and preparing for the next transition for her!

Jerry Anton Bilek III (partner):now 46 years old, runs Monkey See Monkey Read, an independent bookstore in downtown Northfield. He rides one of his 4 trick bicycles as much as possible, through trails, mud, snow, and road. We've ridden 2 centuries (100 miles in 1 day) together now. He will participate in a 135-mile 24 hour race in upper Minnesota in January 2013 (yes, in the snow!)
Griffindor (known as Griffin, or Gryphon): is now 11 years old. He likes to get kisses. And he likes to sleep. And he loves his toy bird Woodstock. We have to take at least one toy outside with us every time we go outside.griffie
Paco: is our latest addition to the family. He is 3, so he is full grown, huge, a little fierce, and lovable when he feels like it. He also keeps track of Griffin. paco
issynme Julie Neiworth:now turning 51 in April 2013 (yikes) is still teaching Carleton students, studying monkeys, exploring autism and brain models of autism, cooking, entertaining, helping Issy through life, and enjoying myself when I can. I run and ride, and always visit the Pacific Northwest every June to see my family, friends, and Portland, OR.
