He has been studying learning and memory linked to emotions in rats since 2002. He received a training fellowship in 2004 to do research, and also spent some time teaching at the UMN as part of his graduate school experience. He finished qualifying exams and got married in the summer of 2004, and will probably finish his PhD in 2005/2006.
