It's December 2009 and it is high time I retired this web site which I no longer update. It was nice while it lasted.
The new place to find information about me is at my LibGuide Liaison page. There you can find (or will soon find) links to all of my course and research guides, my schedule and my cv.
As liaison to the social sciences, I talk with students about their research questions, helping them use the library's resources, or with faculty about supporting classes through library instruction, course resource (web) pages and handouts. Stop by my office in the library, send me an e-mail or give me a call. I am in the library most weekdays from 8:30 - 5:00. My schedule is posted online and outside my door. At any time, consult my schedule then contact me to set up an appointment.
When I find web sites of interest to research at Carleton, I bookmark these sites online so others can see them. I use more than one type of online bookmarking software because there are different advantages to each. You might want to try online bookmarking yourself. It is a great way to keep track of the burgeoning information online (both in the free and deep web) and to collaborate with your colleagues.
