We travelled almost to the tip of Baja California to witness the July 1991 solar eclipse. We camped on the beach on the Sea of Cortez at a site prepared just for the eclipse viewers by Baja Expeditions. The ten of us were part of a group of over one hundred campers at this site. The days were hot but we could always jump into the water for a dip when necessary! The nights were dark and spectacular.
