Beams can be single thin line, don't bother coloring a thick line
Broken beams about width of note head
Single line melodies, ties go opposite side of stems
Dots go in center of space
Stems are perpendicular to staff lines and not slanted (italic)
The rhythm in EVERY measure needs to match up with the time signature
