Summer 2007: Ann's idea to allow people to add library search capabilities to the Firefox search box using SearchPlugins.net. Here's her experimentation.
Spring 2007: Meebo Rooms offers a way to have individual logins for librarians while still offering the log-in-less ease of a Meebo widget (such as the widet that lives near the bottom of the left-hand sidebar of this page).

I went very suddenly from thinking blogging was a little bit frivolous to maintaining multiple blogs (including my library-related blog, Pegasus Librarian) and reading between 80 and 150 blogs (depending on my time and interest).
