Welcome to my web page.  I am a professor in the Department of Biology at Carleton, where I teach Human Physiology and Neuroscience.  I am interested in how the nervous system acquires, processes, and relays information. I approach this subject by studying the cellular mechanisms underlying sensory transduction and synaptic transmission in various sensory systems.
